Level MC1 refers to limited congestion level. By default, no calls are rejected due to congestion in this level. Level MC1 is "in service" by default.The following are the set threshold and clear threshold percentages set for level MC1 when the defaultMC1 (default) Overload Profile is assigned:

  • Set threshold: 85%
  • Clear threshold: 80%

To change whether congestion level MC1 is in service or which profile is assigned to level MC1, on the SBC main screen, go to All > System > Congestion > Level MC1.

The Maintenance mode of MC1.

  • inService (default)  – The most recently assigned Overload Profile is validated and activated.
  • outOfService – Congestion control processing for machine level 1 is suspended. A new Overload Profile can be assigned.

Overload Profile Name

Specifies the name of an existing Overload Profile to assign to the MC1 level.  The profile assigned by default is defaultMC1. 

Note: For SBC SWe deployments in which the default traffic profile is activated, the profile assigned by default is sweOverloadProfileMC1.
