In this section:

SBC Core supports forking of media streams to Media Capture Tool (MCT). The criteria for recording calls is configured in PSX and when a call meets the criteria, PSX indicates the need for media forking in the Policy Response to SBC.

To View Mct

On SBC main screen, go to Troubleshooting > Call Trace/Logs/Monitors > Monitor Configuration > Monitor Endpoint >  Mct.

The Mct window is displayed.

To Edit Mct

To edit any of the Mct in the list, click the radio button next to the specific Mct name.

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.

To Create Mct

To create a new Mct, click New Mct tab on the Mct List panel.

Mct Parameters

Parameter

Description

Name

Specifies the name of the Monitor Endpoint.

Trunk Group

Specifies the name of the Trunk Group used by Media Capture Tool (MCT).

Ip Address

Specifies the logical IP Address of the interface.

Port Number

Specifies the UDP/TCP port number of SIP Signaling Port.

State

Specifies the administrative state of the Media Capture Tool.

The options are:

  • enabled
  • disabled

To Copy Mct

To copy any of the created Mct and to make any minor changes, click the radio button next to the specific Mct to highlight the row.

Click Copy Mct tab on the Mct List panel.

The Copy Selected Mct window is displayed along with the field details which can be edited.

Make the required changes to the required fields and click Save to save the changes. The copied Mct is displayed at the bottom of the original Mct in the Mct List panel.

To Delete Mct

To delete any of the created Mct, click the radio button next to the specific Mct which you want to delete.

Click Delete at the end of the highlighted row. A delete confirmation message appears seeking your decision.

Click Yes to remove the specific Mct from the list.
