Action

Investigate the fault, and take action based upon operational states below:

  • configured(1) – Determine the reason for the administrative change.
  • connectionLoss(2) – Check connectivity to and status of PSX by accomplishing Action steps of alarm "sonusSoftswitchDownNotification" located in PSX Alarm Troubleshooting Guide.
  • noConnection(3) – No action required; An automatic retry will occur.
  • nodeNameChange(4) – No action required; An automatic retry will occur.
  • incompatibleVersion(5) – Check software versions running on SBC and PSX to ensure SBC software is equal to or no more than two versions older than PSX software version.
    • PSX – Login to RAMP and navigate to the PSX Manager GUI. The top left corner of the window displays the PSX server software versions.
    • SBC – Login to the SBC EMA. The current software version displays at the top.

Refer to the PSX Provisioning Guide for help with verifying PSX IP address and port settings.
