The Binary Floor Control Protocol (BFCP) timer object is used to define re-transmission timer parameters for a specified Sip Trunk Group.
On the SBC main screen, go to Configuration > System Provisioning > Category: SIP Carrier Peering > Signaling > Bfcp Timer.
The Bfcp Timer window is displayed. Figure 1: Edit Bfcp Timer Screen The following fields are displayed: Table 1: BFCP Timers Parameters Parameter Description Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.
The Bfcp Timer can be checked for each Address Context, Zone, and Sip Trunk Group or for all the Address Contexts, Zones, and Sip Trunk Groups. Use the drop-down box to select the desired Address Context, Zone, and Sip Trunk Group. Req Timer T1 BFCP protocol request re-transmission timer T1 (in milliseconds). (range = 1-10000 / default = 500). Resp Timer T2 BFCP protocol response re-transmission timer T2 (in milliseconds). For the configured time all subsequent duplicate requests will respond by replaying the cached response. (range = 1-65535 / default = 10000).
