This object creates and configures a global SIP DNS parameters. These apply to all DNS servers used for NAPTR, SRV, and Arecord queries.
On SBC main screen, go to All > Global > Servers > Dns > Global. The Global window is displayed.

| The global Iteration count limit for DNS iterations of server requests. |
| The global retransmission count limit for DNS iterations of server requests. |
| The global retransmission timer value (in milliseconds) for DNS iterations of server requests. |
| The global monitoring interval (in secs) for DNS Servers. |
| The global number of timeouts for blacklisting a DNS Server. |
| The global probe interval (in seconds) for blacklisted DNS Servers. |
Edns Payload Size | The global eDNS payload size for DNS servers. The values ranges from 512 to 4096 and the default value is 1280 |
Edns Retry After | The monitoring time interval in seconds if the eDNS request gets negative response from server. The value ranges from 60 to 180 and the default value is 180. |
Edns Failure Count | The global eDNS maximum failure count for DNS servers. The maximum number of failure counts indicates that when the number of failure response for EDNS reaches this number, the server is marked as unsupported for eDNS. The value ranges from 1 to 5 and the default value is 3. |
Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.
