The Media QOS KPI Profile is associated with an IP Signaling Profile which in turn can be associated to IpPeer or IP Signaling Profile and the parameter, R Factor, need to be configured. QoS-based routing towards terminating gateway/subscriber is configurable from both a signaling and media perspective.
The Media Quality of Service (QoS) Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Profile allows the user to set the R-Factor threshold KPI to filter out IP trunk group routes exceeding this threshold.
On SBC main screen, go to Configuration > Profile Management > Category: Media Profiles > Media QOS Kpi Profile.
The Media QOS Kpi Profile window is displayed.
To Edit Media QOS Kpi Profile
To edit any of the Media QOS Kpi Profile in the list, click the radio button next to the specific Media QOS Kpi Profile name.
The Edit Selected Media QOS Kpi Profile window is displayed.
Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.
To create a new Media QOS Kpi Profile, click New Media QOS Kpi Profile tab on the Media QOS Kpi Profile List panel.
The Create New Media QOS Kpi Profile window is displayed.
Media Qos Kpi Profile Parameters
Parameter | Description |

Name | Specifies the name of the Media QOS Kpi Profile. |
Profile Active | Specifies whether this profile should be kept active or not.

R Factor | Enable or disable the R-Factor voice quality measurement flag.

R Factor | Specifies the R Factor threshold limit. The value range from 0 - 100. |
To copy any of the created Media QOS Kpi Profile and to make any minor changes, click the radio button next to the specific Media QOS Kpi Profile to highlight the row.
Click Copy Media QOS Kpi Profile tab on the Media QOS Kpi Profile List panel.
The Copy Selected Media QOS Kpi Profile window is displayed along with the field details which can be edited.
Make the required changes to the required fields and click Save to save the changes. The copied Media QOS Kpi Profile is displayed at the bottom of the original Media QOS Kpi Profile in the Media QOS Kpi Profile List panel.
To delete any of the created Media QOS Kpi Profile, click the radio button next to the specific Media QOS Kpi Profile which you want to delete.
Click Delete at the end of the highlighted row. A delete confirmation message appears seeking your decision.
Click Yes to remove the specific Media QOS Kpi Profile from the list.
