In this section:


Use the Node Locked License Settings window to view detailed information about existing node-locked licenses and to install node-locked license bundles on the SBC.

On the SBC main screen, navigate to Administration > System Administration > License Management > Node Locked License Settings. The Node Locked License Settings window opens.

The parameters are described below:

Table 1: Legacy License Settings - Field Descriptions

ParametersDescription
Bundle Name

The name of the license bundle.

NOTE: This parameter is displayed in the Bundle Details table. To view the bundle details for an installed license bundle, click the radio button corresponding to the bundle name in the Installed License Bundles table.

License IDA unique numerical identifier for the license.
Expiration DateThe expiry date of the installed license. The format for displaying date is YYYY-MM-DD-HH:MM.
Usage LimitThe usage limit allowed for a feature in the license.


To Install a New License Bundle

To install a new license bundle, click New License Bundle in the Installed License Bundles table.  The Install New License Bundle window opens.

Use the following table to enter license bundle information and then click Save.

ParametersDescription
Name

The name of the license bundle.

Install License Bundle By

Select the method to install the license bundle on the SBC. The options are:

  • Uploading a license file (default)
  • Pasting the license bundle string

If you select pasting, a License Bundle String box opens where you can paste the bundle string. The options to select the license file are no longer presented.

Select License File

Select a method for specifying the license file to upload. The option are:

  • Select an existing license file
  • Upload a new license file (default)

NOTE: These options only appear when Install License Bundle By is set to Uploading a license file.

License Bundle String

An entry field where you can paste a license bundle string.

NOTE: This box only appear when Install License Bundle By is set to Pasting the license bundle string.


To Delete a License Bundle

Note:

You must have administrator privileges to delete a license bundle from the SBC.

  1. To delete a license bundle, click the radio button adjacent to the bundle name in the Installed License Bundles list.
  2. Click the red delete control (X) to the right of the bundle entry to delete the license bundle.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
