This object specifies the minimum and the maximum values that can be specified for Area Code.

To View and Edit Area Code

On SBC main screen, go to Configuration > Profile Management > Category: Digit Parameter Handling Profiles > Numbering Plan > Lengths > Area Code.

Select the desired Numbering Plan from the drop-down list to view its respective Area Code parameters.

The Area Code window is displayed.

Min

Specifies the minimum value that need to be specified for the area code. The value ranges from 0 to 999 and the default value is 2.

Max 

Specifies the maximum value that need to be specified for the area code. The value ranges from 0 to 999 and the default value is 4.

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.
