This section explains the Number portability attributes configuration for Egress Ip Attributes.

To View and Edit Number Portability Attributes

On the SBC main screen, choose a path:

  • Configuration > System Provisioning > Category: Trunk Provisioning > IP Signaling Profile > Egress IP Attributes > Number Portability Attributes 
  • Configuration > Profile Management > Category: Signaling Profiles > IP Signaling Profile > Egress IP Attributes > Number Portability Attributes 
  • All> Profiles > Signaling > IP Signaling Profile > Egress IP Attributes > Number Portability Attributes 

The Number Portability Attributes window is displayed.

Select the DEFAULT_SIP from the IP Signaling Profile dropdown to view the Number Portability Attributes for the SIP Trunk Group.

Npdi Options

Use the following options to specify whether the SBC and ERE SIP proxy/redirector send the SIP NPDI parameter in the egress INVITE message when LNP translation is performed by ERE call processing or the preceding switch.

  • Do Not Include Npdi – Do not send the NPDI parameter.
  • Include Npdi – Send "npdi" in the userinfo portion of the Request URI.
  • Include Npdi Yes – (default) Send "npdi=yes" in the userinfo portion of the Request URI.
Disable RnEnable this flag to prevent the SBC and ERE SIP proxy/redirector from sending the SIP rn parameter in the egress INVITE message when an LNP translated number is present. When the flag is disabled, the SBCand ERE SIP proxy/redirector send "rn=NNNN" in the userinfo portion of the Request URI, where "NNNN" is the LNP translated number.

Make the required changes and click Save.
