For every Feature Control Profile created, you can choose whether or not to use the IP Protocols by toggling the Use IP Protocol flag for each Feature Control Profile.

To View and Edit IP Protocol Flags

On the SBC main screen, go to Configuration > Profile Management > Category: Feature Control Profile > Feature Control Profile > IP Protocol Flags.

Select the desired Feature Control Profile from the drop-down list to view its respective IP Protocol Flags parameters.

The IP Protocol Flags window is displayed.

Use IP Protocol

Specifies whether to use the IP Protocol or not for the created Feature Control Profiles. The options are:

  • Disable (default)
  • Enable
Default Called User

This parameter is visible only when Use IP Protocol flag is enabled.

If enabled, the application User Name is used the Default Called User value.

Honor Phone Context Parameter

When this flag is enabled, PSX globalizes the incoming called number using the phone-context value received in Called-URI. Once the number is globalized using phone-context, the PSX acts as if it received a global number in policy request and use the modified number for further call processing.

This parameter is visible only when Use IP Protocol flag is enabled.

Make the required changes and click Save.
