Codec Routing Priority - Entry

Use the Codec Routing Priority - Entry window to view the list of existing Codec Routing Priority entries and to add more entries to an existing Codec Routing Priority configuration object. Refer to Prioritizing routes based on HD codec for more information on codec routing priority. 

On the SBC main screen, go to All > Profiles > Media > Codec Routing Priority > Entry or 
Configuration > Profile Management > Category: Media Profiles > Codec Routing Priority > Entry

The Entry window opens initially with all codec priority entries listed.

To Add an Entry

New entries must be associated with the existing Codec Routing Priority configuration for a specific ingress codec. To create a new entry within an existing Codec Routing Priority:

1. In Codec Routing Priority, select the name of the ingress codec in whose Codec Routing Priority configuration you want to add more priority entries for egress codecs. The New Entry option becomes available.

2. Click New Entry. The Create New Entry window opens.

3. In Egress Codec Group, select the codec for which you want to set a priority. The options are AMRWB, EVS, G722, G7221, G7291, MSRT, OPUS, and SILK.
4. In Codec Priority, enter the numeric priority to assign to the egress codec. 
5. Click Save. 

To delete codec priority entries, delete the Codec Routing Priority configuration object as a whole. Refer to Media - Codec Routing Priority.
