Use the Ad Service - Criteria window to specify the trigger criteria for an Ad Service. If the SBC has locally stored subscriber data it retrieved from an Active Directory (AD) server, an Ad Service defines the characteristics of the service that retrieves AD data from the local database for use in call routing and policy decisions. 

  1. On the SBC main screen, go to All > Global > Servers > Ad Service > Criteria

  2.  In Ad Service, select the specific Ad Service for which you want to specify trigger criteria. The Criteria window opens for the specified Ad Service configuration.

  3. In Trigger Criteria, enter the name of the Number Translation Criteria that defines criteria, that when matched, triggers retrieving data from the local database.
  4. Click Save.
