The Binary Floor Control Protocol (BFCP) timer object is used to define re-transmission timer parameters for a specified Sip Trunk Group.

To View and Edit Bfcp Timer

On the SBC main screen, go to Configuration > System Provisioning > Category: SIP Carrier Peering > Signaling > Bfcp Timer.


The Bfcp Timer can be checked for each Address Context, Zone, and Sip Trunk Group or for all the Address Contexts, Zones, and Sip Trunk Groups. Use the drop-down box to select the desired Address Context, Zone, and Sip Trunk Group.

The Bfcp Timer window is displayed.

Parameter

 Description

 Req Timer T1BFCP protocol request re-transmission timer T1 (in milliseconds). (range = 1-10000 / default = 500).
 Resp Timer T2BFCP protocol response re-transmission timer T2 (in milliseconds). For the configured time all subsequent duplicate requests will respond by replaying the cached response. (range = 1-65535 / default = 10000).

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.
