Use this window to view call failure statistics on a trunk group basis during a series of statistics intervals. To set the statistics time interval and the number of intervals to report, refer to System - Interval Statistics.
On the SBC main screen, go to Monitoring > Trunks and Subscribers > Sessions > Call Failure Interval Statistics or
All > Address Context > Zone > Call Failure Interval Statistics
The Call Failure Interval Statistics window is displayed. Select an Address Context and Zone to filter the output.
Figure 1: Call Failure Interval Statistics
The following fields are displayed:
Table 1: Call Failure Interval Statistics
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
Number | Specifies the sequence number which identifies the interval for which the set of statistics is required. |
Name | Specifies the name of the trunk group to which the statistics apply. |
Interval Valid | A setting of 'true' indicates the interval contains valid data during the time interval. Each interval is for a configurable fixed time (default interval is 15 minutes) starting on the hour. For example, if the system starts at 12:05, the first interval at 12:15 will not be valid because it is less than the 15-minute interval. Subsequent intervals will be valid upon meeting the 15-minute time interval. System switch-overs also cause invalid intervals because data is lost during the interval.
|
Time | System up time when the interval statistics were collected. |
In Call Fail No Routes | Number of inbound failed calls because there was no route available for this trunk group for the specified interval. |
In Call Fail No Resources | Number of inbound failed calls because there was an unavailable resource for this trunk group for the specified interval. |
In Call Fail No Service | Number of inbound failed calls because there was an unavailable service for this trunk group for the specified interval. |
In Call Fail Invalid Call | Number of inbound failed calls because there was an invalid call attempt for this trunk group for the specified interval. |
In Call Fail Network Failure | Number of inbound failed calls because there was a network failure for this trunk group for the specified interval. |
In Call Fail Protocol Error | The number of failed inbound calls due to a protocol error for this trunk group for the specified interval. The SBC increments the counter for this statistic when it receives unrecognized parameters, or all the required parameters are not configured. Note: This parameter is applicable for SIP-I (SIP-ISUP) configuration. |
In Call Fail Unspecified | Number of inbound failed calls for an unspecified reason for this trunk group for the specified interval. |
Out Call Fail No Routes | Number of outbound failed calls because there was no route available for this trunk group for the specified interval. |
Out Call Fail No Resources | The number of failed outbound calls due to unavailable resources for this trunk group for the specified interval. The SBC increments the counter for this statistic when the route is not configured and it fails to find the necessary resources. |
Out Call Fail No Service | The number of failed outbound calls due to service unavailability for this trunk group for the specified interval. The SBC increments the counter for this statistic when outbound call service is not available for this trunk group during the specified interval. |
Out Call Fail Invalid Call | Number of outbound failed calls because there was an invalid call attempt for this trunk group for the specified interval. |
Out Call Fail Network Failure | Number of outbound failed calls because there was a network failure for this trunk group for the specified interval. |
Out Call Fail Protocol Error | The number of failed outbound calls due to a protocol error for this trunk group for the specified interval. The SBC increments the counter for this statistic when it receives unrecognized parameters, or all the required parameters are not configured. |
Out Call Fail Unspecified | The number of failed outbound calls due to an unspecified reason for this trunk group for the specified interval. The SBC increments the counter for this statistic if the SIP Signaling Port for the egress is disabled while calls are in progress. |
Routing Failures Resv | Number of routing failures due to no unreserved circuits for this trunk group for the specified interval. |
Alloc Fail BW Limit | The number of failed bandwidth requests due to the current usage exceeding the configured bandwidth limit for this trunk group for the specified interval. |
Alloc Fail Call Limit | The number of failed call handling requests due to the current number of concurrent calls exceeding the configured call limit for this trunk group for the specified interval. |
No PSX Route | Number of calls on an ingress trunk group that failed due to no routes returned from the PSX for the specified interval. |
Call Abandoned | Number of calls on a trunk group that were abandoned while dialing for the specified interval. |
Call Fail Policing | The number of calls for a trunk group that failed during the specified interval due to configured policing rules in the SBC. |
SIP Register Fail Policing | Number SIP registration attempts that failed due to policing on a trunk group for the specified interval. |
SIP Register Fail Internal | Number SIP registration attempts that failed due to other internal reasons on a trunk group for the specified interval. |
SIP Register Fail Other | Number SIP registration attempts that failed due to other reasons (signaling failures, etc.) on a trunk group for the specified interval. |
Security Fail | Number of calls that failed due to a mismatch between the peer security and route packet service profile security on a trunk group for the specified interval. |
Register Calls Failed | Number of calls that failed due to registration requirement for SIP trunk group for the specified interval. |
Non Match Src IP Calls Fail | Number of calls that failed due to mismatched source IP of IAD according to its RCB for the specified interval. |
Invalid SPCalls Failed | Number of calls that failed due to mismatched ingress sig port from CP according to RCB for the specified interval. |
Alloc Fail Parent Constraint | Number of failures caused by parent limit denial for this trunk group for the specified interval. |
SIP Subscriptions Fail Policing | Number SIP registration attempts that failed due to policing on a trunk group for the specified interval. |
SIP Other Req Fail Policing | Number of SIP other non-INVITE attempts that failed due to policing on trunk group. |
Video Threshold Limit | Number of video streams exceeded the video threshold limit this trunk group. |
SIP Other Req Fail Internal | Number of SIP registration attempts that failed due to other reasons (signaling failures, etc.) on a trunk group for the specified interval. |
SIP Other Req Fail Other | Number of SIP other non-INVITE attempts that failed due to other reasons on a trunk group for the specified interval. |
