Use this window to work with Home Public Land Mobile Network (HPLMN) profile objects. In networks supporting the S8 Home Routing (S8HR) roaming model, calls from users identified as outbound roaming users are processed so that any emergency calls are handled by the visited network rather than the home network. User location information for a call (the PLMN ID) is compared against the IDs configured in HPLMN profiles and Visited Public Land Mobile Network (VPLMN) profiles to determine whether the user placing the call is an S8HR outbound roaming user.

To View HPLMN Profiles

On the SBC main screen, go to All > Profiles > Services > Hplmn Profile. The Hplmn Profiles window opens.

To Create an HPLMN Profile 

To create a new HPLMN Profile object:

  1. Click New Hplmn Profile. The Create New Hplmn Profile window opens. 

  2. Enter a name of up to 23 characters for the profile object and click Save.

To Delete an HPLMN Profile

To delete an existing HPLMN Profile object:

  1. Click the radio button adjacent to the profile name you want to delete.
  2. Click the red X at the end of the row.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
