Use the Addresscontext window to specify whether to execute address-context-level SIP Message manipulation (SMM) profiles (SIP adaptor profiles) for calls to or from the specified SIP trunk group.

The SBC allows you to assign SMM profiles at the global, address context, zone, and SIP trunk group levels. For a SIP trunk group, you have the option to specify how to execute SMM profiles if profiles are configured at multiple levels. One option is "fixed order" execution. In fixed order execution, the SBC logically concatenates the rules in the applicable profiles and executes them in the following order: global, address context, zone, SIP trunk group. The collection of rules are treated as though they reside in a single profile and therefore variable values set at the beginning of the sequence are accessible to rules that follow in the sequence.

If you have configured a trunk group to use fixed order execution, you also have the option to disable execution of profiles at any of the four levels. The SBC then only executes the rules at the levels that remain enabled (global, address context, zone, SIP trunk group). The option on this window enables or disables executing SIP adaptor profiles at the address context level for a specified SIP trunk group.

To Configure Whether to Execute Address-Context-Level SIP Adaptor Profiles

  1. From the SBC main screen go to All > Address Context > Zone > SIP Trunk Group > Signaling > Message Manipulation > Addresscontext
  2. Using the drop-down lists, select the Address ContextZone, and SIP Trunk Group that you want to configure. The Addresscontext window opens.

    Note

The selected SIP trunk group must be configured to use fixed order SMM profile execution for options on this window to be available.

  3. By default the Ac State is set to Enabled and address context profiles are executed. Click Disabled to disable execution of address-context-level SMM profiles for the specified SIP trunk group.
  4. Click Save.
