Use the Local Survivability window to configure local survivability state settings for SIP trunk groups. This section describes the various parameters associated with local survivability for SIP endpoints.

To View and Edit Local Survivability

On the SBC main screen, go to  All > Address context > Zone > SIP Trunk Group > Local Survivability. The Local Survivability window is displayed.

Use the drop-down lists to select the desired Address Context, Zone and SIP Trunk Group. The Edit Local Survivability window is displayed.

Use the following table to configure the Local Survivability settings for the trunk group and then click Save.

Parameter

Description

Local Survivability State

Enable this flag to activate local call routing.

The SBC switches to local survivable mode if it is enabled.

The options include:

  • Disabled
  • Enabled
Allow Local Registration

Enable this flag to allow local registration when the ARS blacklist the Application Server (AS).

If Allow Local Registration configuration is enabled towards Access side, the SBC handles new registration requests locally.

If Allow Local Registration configuration is enabled, the SBC accepts the registration request without authentication and locally respond with a 200OK.
