Use the Media Port Range window to configure a range of UDP ports to use for RTP/RTCP media for a specific SIP trunk group. 

To View and Edit the Media Port Range

On the SBC main screen, go to All > Address ContextZone > SIP Trunk Group > Media > Media Port Range or
Configuration > System Provisioning > Category: SIP Carrier PeeringSIP Trunk Group > Media > Media Port Range or
Configuration > System Provisioning > Category: Trunk Provisioning > Trunk GroupSIP Trunk Group > SIP Trunk Advanced > SIP Trunk - Media - Advanced > Media > Media Port Range

The Media Port Range window opens. Use the drop-down lists to select the specific Address Context, Zone and SIP Trunk Group you want to configure. The currently configured values for the specified trunk group appear.

Use the following table to change the values as needed and then click Save.

Parameter Description
Base UDP Port

Specifies the start of the range of UDP ports to use for RTP/RTCP media for this trunk group. This value must be within the system-level media port range. Values between 1024-65534 are allowed and the default value is none. If the value is set to none, the value is inherited from the system-level Media Port Range.

Max UDP Port

Specifies the end of the range of UDP ports to use for RTP/RTCP media for this trunk group. This value must be greater than the value of Base UDP Port and within the system-level media port range. Values between 1024-65534 are allowed and the default value is none. If the value is set to none, the value is inherited from the system-level Media Port Range.
