In this section:
Use this object to specify the SIP method (UPDATE/INVITE) for which the SBC performs the configured action, when the configured Trigger Header matches with the received SIP header.
Note that the SIP Method INVITE applies only to "re-INVITE" scenarios, and not "initial INVITE" scenarios.
To View and Select a SIP Method
On the SBC main screen, navigate to All > Profiles > Services > SIP Adaptive Transparency Profile > SIP Method.
The SIP Method window displays.

Select a method using the corresponding radio button in the SIP Method List pane.

Note
You cannot edit a SIP Method.
To Copy a Selected SIP Method
Select a method using the corresponding radio button in the SIP Method List pane.
Click Copy SIP Method.
The Copy Selected SIP Method pane displays.

Edit the field and click Save.
To Create a New SIP Method
Click +New SIP Method.
The Create New SIP Method pane displays.

To Delete a Selected SIP Method
Selected a SIP Method from the SIP Method List pane.
Click the delete icon at the end of the selected row.
Confirm the delete prompt and the acknowledgement message to complete the process.
