Site Power Requirements
The following table lists the SBC 7000 system power requirements:
Prior to connecting to the DC power source, connect the (earth) ground at both the designated grounding terminals on the SBC 7000 chassis and at the facility wiring side of the DC supply.
For the DC-powered SBC 7000, the primary over-current protection is provided by the building circuit breaker. This breaker must not exceed 100 A (recommended rating is 80 A) to protect against excess currents, short circuits, and earth faults in accordance to national and/or local codes.
High Amp AC Power Connector
A higher amperage AC connector is used which is different than a normal AC connectors to power the SBC 7000. The connector pin orientation of this higher amperage AC connector is shown below.
