This object creates and configures a profile for digit collection. Digit profiles define the parameters for DTMF/MFR1/MFR2 digit generation and collection.

To View Digit Profile

On SBC main screen, go to Configuration > Profile Management > Category: Digit Profiles > Digit Profile. The Digit Profile window is displayed.

To Edit Digit Profile

To edit any of the Digit Profile in the list, click the radio button next to the specific Digit Profile name.

The Edit Selected Digit Profile window is displayed below.

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.

To Create Digit Profile

To create a new Digit Profile, click New Digit Profile tab on the Digit Profile List panel.

The Create New Digit Profile window is displayed.

Parameter

Description

Name

The name of the digit profile that is being configured.

Type

The tone type to use to generate and detect the digits. This must be specified when the object is created and cannot be changed (you must delete and recreate the object to change this parameter):
dtmf—Dual Tone Multi-Frequency.
mfr1—Multi-Frequency (R1).
mfr2—Register signaling protocol for South America.

To Copy Digit Profile

To copy any of the created Digit Profile and to make any minor changes, click the radio button next to the specific Digit Profile to highlight the row.

Click Copy Digit Profile tab on the Digit Profile List panel.

The Copy Selected Digit Profile window is displayed along with the field details which can be edited.

Make the required changes to the required fields and click Save to save the changes. The copied Digit Profile is displayed at the bottom of the original Digit Profile in the Digit Profile List panel.

To Delete Digit Profile

To delete any of the created Digit Profile, click the radio button next to the specific Digit Profile which you want to delete.

Click Delete at the end of the highlighted row. A delete confirmation message appears seeking your decision.

Click Yes to remove the specific Digit Profile from the list.
