This object specifies a Network Time Protocol (NTP) server that supplies local time to the SBC. The reference time delivered by NTP is the source of all timestamps placed into the accounting records.


Note

The SBC supports up to three NTP servers. 

To View Ntp Server Admin

On SBC main screen, go to Configuration > System Setup > Ntp > Server Admin. The Server Admin window is displayed.

To Edit Ntp Server Admin

To edit any of the Server Admins in the list, click the radio button next to the specific Server Admin name.

The Edit Selected Server Admin window is displayed below.

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.

To Create Ntp Server Admin

To create a new Server Admin, click New Server Admin tab on the Server Admin List panel.

The Create New Server Admin window is displayed.

Enter all the required fields. You can click Show only required fields at the left hand bottom of the panel to view and enter only the required fields to create a new Server Admin.

Parameter

Description

Ip Address

Specifies the Ip Address of this NTP Server.

State

Specifies the configured state of this NTP Server.

Version

Specifies the NTP version of this Server.

Min Poll

Specifies the minimum poll interval, in seconds to the power of 2, for this NTP Server. The minPoll parameter value range is 4 - 17 (16 seconds to 36.4 hours). The default value is 4.

Max Poll

Specifies the maximum poll interval, in seconds to the power of 2, for this NTP Server. The maxPoll parameter value range is 10 - 17 (1,024 seconds to 36.4 hours). The default value is 10.

Auth KeySpecifies the NTP authentication key Identifier to authenticate the server.

To Copy Ntp Server Admin

To copy any of the created Server Admin and to make any minor changes, click the radio button next to the specific Server Admin to highlight the row.

Click Copy Server Admin tab on the Server Admin List panel.

The Copy Selected Server Admin window is displayed along with the field details which can be edited.

Make the required changes to the required fields and click Save to save the changes. The copied Server Admin is displayed at the bottom of the original Server Admin in the Server Admin List panel.

To Delete Ntp Server Admin

To delete any of the created Server Admins, click the radio button next to the Server Admin which you want to delete.

Click Delete at the end of the highlighted row. A delete confirmation message appears seeking your decision.

Click Yes to remove the specific Server Admin from the list.
