Media - Tone Profile - Modulated Tone

Use this section to view or edit Modulated Tone attributes.

To View and Edit Modulated Tone

On the SBC main screen, go to All > Profiles Management > Media > Tone Profile > Modulated Tone.

Select the desired Tone Profile from the drop-down list to view its respective Modulated Tone parameters.

The Modulated Tone window is displayed.

Parameter	Description
Carrier Frequency	Specifies the frequency in Hertz of the carrier for the modulated signal. Value must be less than 4000. If set to 0, then silence is generated. Only valid if generation method is modulatedTone.
Carrier Power	Specifies Carrier Power in dBm. Power levels range from -50 dBm (minimum power) to +3 dBm (maximum power). Only valid if generation method is modulatedTone.
Signal Frequency	Specifies the frequency in Hertz of the sinusoid modulating the carrier sinusoid. Value must be less than 4000. Only valid if generation method is modulatedTone.
Signal Modulation Index	Specifies the modulation index of the signal. Value must be in the range of 0 to 300 in 1% units. Only valid if generation method is modulatedTone.

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.
