Use the Ad Service window to begin creating an Ad Service. If the SBC has locally stored subscriber data it retrieved from an Active Directory (AD) server, an Ad Service defines the characteristics of the service that retrieves AD data from the local database for use in call routing and policy decisions. Additional components of the Ad Service are configured on the Criteria and Flags windows beneath the Ad Service window.
