In this section:


Specifies the parameters of Sub Rule for Dm Pm Rule.

To View Sub Rule

On SBC main screen, go to Configuration > Profile Management > Category: Digit Parameter Handling Profiles > Dm Pm Rule > Sub Rule.

Select the desired Dm Pm Rule from the drop-down list to view its respective Sub Rule parameters.

The Sub Rule window is displayed.

To Edit Sub Rule

To edit any of the Sub Rule in the list, click the radio button next to the specific Sub Rule name.

The Edit Selected Sub Rule window is displayed below.

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.

To Create Sub Rule

To create a new Sub Rule, click New Sub Rule tab on the Sub Rule List panel.

The Create New Sub Rule window is displayed.

Rule Type

Select Digit Manipulation, Parameter Manipulation, or URI manipulation to set criteria for performing digit, parameter, or URI manipulation. The options are:

  • digit 
  • parameter (default)
  • uri

To Copy Sub Rule

To copy any of the created Sub Rule and to make any minor changes, click the radio button next to the specific Sub Rule to highlight the row.

Click Copy Sub Rule tab on the Sub Rule List panel.

The Copy Selected Sub Rule window is displayed along with the field details which can be edited.

Make the required changes to the required fields and click Save to save the changes. The copied Sub Rule is displayed at the bottom of the original Sub Rule in the Sub Rule List panel.

To Delete Sub Rule

To delete any of the created Sub Rule, click the radio button next to the specific Sub Rule which you want to delete.

Click Delete at the end of the highlighted row. A delete confirmation message appears seeking your decision.

Click Yes to remove the specific Sub Rule from the list.
