This topic describes how to interpret the SBC Core highAvailabilityPort status for GR-HA port connections supporting ARP-based monitoring, in case additional actions are required.
The following highAvailabilityPort OOS reasons are described in this section:
- A status of "noSignal" if there is an outage between the CE and its local switch
- A status of "noRemoteSignal" if the outage is beyond the local switch.

Scenarios
Loss of connection between the server HA port and the local switch
- The OOS Reason is "noSignal"
The other end of the same port shows the OOS Reason as "noRemoteResponse"

- A disconnection between switches
The OOS Reason is "noRemoteResponse"

- Both issues are faced
Physical disconnection to server HA port and in between switches, Initially it shows one server with "noSignal" and other with "noRemoteResponse" as OOS Reason. Once physical disconnection rectified, OOS Reason shows both port as "noRemoteResponse".
