Use the Memory Usage window to view memory usage statistics in a tabular and in a chart format.
From the SBC main screen, go to Monitoring > Dashboard > Memory Usage or
Monitoring > System > Category: Hardware Status > Memory > Memory Usage
The Memory Usage window displays. Click the Memory Type or Memory column header to sort the table by that column. The memory usage data is updated every five seconds.

Parameter | Description |
---|---|
Total system memory | Specifies total system memory used by the SBC platform. |
Real free memory (Kb) | Specifies real free memory on the SBC platform, which includes free memory, buffer memory and cached memory. |
Free memory | Specifies free memory available after installing the SBC application. |
Used memory | Specifies the memory used by the SBC application. |
Cached memory | Specifies cached memory which stores the copies of the data from frequently used main memory location. |
Buffers | Specifies the temporary storage for raw disk blocks. |
The same entries are displayed in a chart format. Hover the mouse over the chart to see details of the memory type.
