In this section:


The SBC Core supports the following call processing elements which determine the services, routing and policy data applicable for the call:

  • Subscriber (Calling Party)
  • Destination (Called Party)
  • Carrier (based on Carrier Selection Priority associated with the Trunk Group)
  • Trunk Group

The SBC is configurable to interact with one or more centralized PSXs (up to nine external PSXs), the local Policy Server (ERE) or a combination of external PSXs and ERE.
