In this section:

This table contains elements which bind announcement names to segment ID values for a given announcement package.

To View Element

On SBC main screen, go to Configuration > Profile Management > Category: Media Profiles > Announcement Package > Element.

Select the desired Announcement Package from the drop-down list to view its respective Element parameters.

The Element window is displayed.

To Edit Element

To edit any of the Element in the list, click the radio button next to the specific Element name.

The Edit Selected Element window is displayed below.

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.

To Create Element

To create a new Element, click New Element tab on the Element List panel.

The Create New Element window is displayed.

Parameter

Description

Name

Identifies the announcement name for this element.

Segment Id

The Segment ID for the announcement segment file that this announcement name is mapped to for this announcement package

To Copy Element

To copy any of the created Element and to make any minor changes, click the radio button next to the specific Element to highlight the row.

Click Copy Element tab on the Element List panel.

The Copy Selected Element window is displayed along with the field details which can be edited.

Make the required changes to the required fields and click Save to save the changes. The copied Element is displayed at the bottom of the original Element in the Element List panel.

To Delete Element

To delete any of the created Element, click the radio button next to the specific Element which you want to delete.

Click Delete at the end of the highlighted row. A delete confirmation message appears seeking your decision.

Click Yes to remove the specific Element from the list.
