Use this window to specify whitelisting parameters for an ENUM ARS Profile. These profiles apply to ENUM servers and these options specify behavior for managing device failover to a secondary or backup ENUM server in the form of blacklisting and whitelisting parameters.
From the SBC main window go to All > Global > Servers > ENUM ARS Profile > White Listing. The White Listing window opens where you must select the name of an ENUM ARS profile for which you want to edit whitelisting parameters. After selecting a profile, its whitelisting parameters are shown for editing.

Use the following table to specify the blacklisting values and click Save.
Table 1: ENUM ARS Profile - Whitelisting Parameters
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
Number of Responses | Specify the consecutive number of probe responses that must be received in order to recover a server from the blacklisted state. The default is 2. |
Ping Interval | Specify the interval (seconds) between a probe response and the next probe request. The default is 1. If this parameter is set to 0, the SBC does not send a dummy NPTR query towards the ENUM server to check its status. The ENUM server is whitelisted once the High Water Mark Timer expires if the High Water Mark Timer parameter is not set to 0. |
High Water Mark Timer | Specify the maximum duration (seconds) allowed for the recovery process. After this duration, the recovery process stops. When this parameter is set to 0, the recovery process can continue indefinitely. The default is 86400. |
When Ping Interval and High Water Mark Timer are both set to 0, the ENUM server remains blacklisted until the parameters are reconfigured.
