Servers - DNS - Global

The global servers object allows you to configure a DNS Server object on the SBC Core capable of communicating with external DNS servers to resolve domain names. It also used to configure ENUM and E911 servers

The DNS server object is permanently bound to a particular Zone or Address Context.

  • If the zone is linked to an IP Interface group, the DNS server query is limited to that IP interface group.
  • If the IP or management IP interface group is linked to address context, the  DNS server query is limited to that address context.
