Use the Flags window to view and edit the flags settings on an existing ENUM Service object.

To View and Edit Flags

On the SBC main screen, go to All > Global > Servers > ENUM Service > Flags

Select the ENUM Service object whose flags you want to view or edit in the ENUM Service drop-down list. The Edit Flags window opens for the selected ENUM Services object.

Use the following table to configure the flag options and then click Save.

Parameter

Active

Specifies the status of the ENUM Service object. The options are:

  • Disable
  • Enable (default)
Process Calling Number

Enable this flag to analyze the calling number using the prefix profile.

When this flag is disabled, the calling number is not analyzed and therefore if it contains +CC, this value is sent to the SBC in the calling number field in the policy response. The options are:

  • Disable (default)
  • Enable
Process New ANI

When this flag is enabled for an ENUM AoR service, and an ENUM AoR response contains a "newani=<some_number>" parameter in the NAPTR record, the ERE overwrites the existing calling number of the call with the newANI number.

When this flag is disabled, any newANI parameters received in NAPTR responses are ignored in PES. The options are:

  • Disable (default)
  • Enable
Skip Further Number Translation Services

When this flag is enabled, the SBC skips all further services and goes directly to routing. The options are:

  • Disable (default)
  • Enable
Send Orig Dialed Num Over EgressWhen this flag is enabled, the SBC sends the original dialed number in the egress INVITE request after an ENUM dip. The options are: 
  • Disable (default)
  • Enable
