Perform the following steps to configure RTCP Multiplex to non-RTCP Multiplex interworking:

Configuring ERE

Create a PSP and enable RTCP Mux

set profiles media packetServiceProfile PSP
commit

set profiles media packetServiceProfile PSP rtcpOptions rtcp enable rtcpMux enable
commit


Attach the PSP to the SIP Trunk Group

set addressContext default zone defaultSigZone sipTrunkGroup ingress_TG policy media packetServiceProfile PSP

Configuring External PSX

Create a Packet Service Profile in the PSX

  1. From the PSX Manager window, choose Packet Service Profile from the drop-down menu.

  2. To create a Packet Service Profile, right-click on the Selection Area and select New from the pop-up menu.

    The Packet Service Profile window is displayed.


  3. Enter the Packet Service Profile name and click Save to create the new Packet Service Profile.

Enable RTCP Mux in the PSP

The RTCP-MUX flag is visible only when the option RTCP is enabled in the PSP.


  1. Choose the RTCP option from the PSP to enable it. This action enables the RTCP configurable flags.


  2. Select RTCP-MUX from the RTCP options and click Save.
