Use the Ad Service - Flags window to set the Active flag which enables or disables an Ad Service. If the SBC has locally stored subscriber data it retrieved from an Active Directory (AD) server, an Ad Service defines the characteristics of the service that retrieves AD data from the local database for use in call routing and policy decisions.

  1. On the SBC main screen, go to All > Global > Servers > Ad Service > Flags
  2.  In Ad Service, select the specific Ad Service for which you want to set the Active flag. The Flags window opens for the specified Ad Service configuration.

  3.  For the Active flag, click Enable to activate the Ad Service. By default the flag is set to Disable.

  4. Click Save.
