Description | This trap signifies that the SNMPv2 entity that is acting in an agent role, has received a protocol message that is not properly authenticated. While all implementations of the SNMPv2 are capable of generating this trap, the snmpEnableAuthenTraps object indicates if this trap was generated. Note: This trap is also applicable to SNMPv3. The SNMPv3 authenticationFailure trap is triggered when an SNMP request with a bad authentication password is received. |
