Use the Media RTCP Control window to configure RTCP session parameters for the system.

On the SBC main screen, go to All > System > Media > Media RTCP Control. The Media RTCP Control window opens.

Use the following table to configure the options and then click Save.

Parameter Description
Sender Report IntervalWhen RTCP termination is enabled in the Packet Service Profile, this value specifies the initial interval for generating the sender/receiver report. The allowed range is between 5 -16 seconds. The default value is 5.
Send BYEPacket

When RTCP termination is enabled in the Packet Service Profile, this option specifies whether or not to send RTCP BYE packets when calls are terminated. The options are:

  • Disabled – Use this setting to suppress RTCP BYE packets in pass-through scenarios when the RTCP terminationForPassthrough option is enabled and the call is not established. This setting is useful to avoid one-way audio when Dynamic LRBT and RTCP are in use at the same time.
  • Enabled (default) – the SBC sends an RTCP BYE packet when a call is terminated. This setting affects all calls configured with RTCP termination.
T140RTCP Monitor Interval

Defines the interval for which the SBC monitors the RTCP packets for T140 stream from endpoints. If RTCP is not received within this interval, the SBC starts RTCP generation. This configuration applies only to the T140 stream. This configuration takes effect only if corresponding PSP flag "generateRtcpForT140IfNotReceivedFromOtherLeg" is enabled. The allowed range is between 2 and 20 seconds. The default value is 6 seconds.
