Use this parameter to specify a limit on the number of times a user is allowed to attempt SSH authentication on the SBC. When the limit is exceeded the account is locked.

Command Syntax

% set system admin <system name> sshMaxAuthTries <2 - 6>

Command Parameters

SSH Maximum Authentication Tries Parameter

sshMaxAuthTries

Specifies the maximum number of times SSH users can attempt authentication before an account is locked. The valid range is 2 to 6. The default value is 6.
