Use this object to configure the Post-Dial Delay (PDD) performance requirement which consists of a timeout value and response code.

To View and Edit Post Dial Delay

On the SBC main screen, navigate to All > Address Context > Zone > SIP Trunk Group > Signaling > Post Dial Delay.

The Ingress PDD timer is activated when the configured value on the ingress trunk group is greater than zero and the incoming SIP call reaches an address complete state. The Egress PDD timer is activated when the configured value on the egress trunk group is greater than zero and upon receipt of the 100 Trying message from the egress peer. The Egress PDD timer is canceled upon receipt of a 18x/200/3xx/4xx/5xx message from the egress peer.

The Post Dial Delay can be checked for each Address Context, for each Zone, for each SIP Trunk Group created or for all the Address Contexts, Zones and SIP Trunk Groups created. Use the drop-down box to select the desired Address Context, Zone and SIP Trunk Group.

The Edit Post Dial Delay window is displayed.
