Perform the following steps to re-install the SWe ISO.

  1. Log on as user root on the VMware ESXi GUI.
    1. Enter your VMware administrator user name.
    2. Enter your VMware administrator password.
  2. Click Virtual Machines, and click the VM that you want to configure.

  3. Click Edit>VM Options.
  4. Expand the Boot Options drop-down menu. In the Force BIOS setup field, check the The next time the virtual machine boots, force entry into the BIOS setup screen box.

  5. Click Virtual Hardware, and expand the CD/DVD Drive 1 drop-down menu.

    1. Make sure that the Connect at power box is checked in the Status field.

    2. In the CD/DVD Media field, click Browse...

    3. Navigate to the ISO file and click Select.

  6. Click Save.

  7. Click Power on. The BIOS setup window appears.
    1. Use the right-arrow key to navigate to the Boot tab.

    2. Use the down-arrow key to select CD-ROM Drive.

    3. Press the + or -key to move the CD-ROM Drive option to the top of the boot order.

    4. Press F10 to save and exit. A setup confirmation appears.

    5. Click Yes.

  8. The ConnexIP Installer window appears. Select Install and press Enter.

  9. After the setup runs successfully, click the name of the VM you want to configure and click Edit.
  10. Expand the CD/DVD Drive 1 drop-down menu. Deselect the Connect at power on box in the Status field.

  11. Click VM Options and expand the Boot Options drop-down menu.
  12. In the Force BIOS setup field, check the The next time the virtual machine boots, force entry into the BIOS setup screen box. Click Save.

  13. Click Power on. The BIOS setup window appears.
    1. Use the right-arrow key to navigate to the Boot tab.
    2. Use the down-arrow key to select CD-ROM Drive.
    3. Press the + or -key to move the CD-ROM Drive option to its original boot order location.

    4. Press F10 to save and exit. A setup confirmation appears.

    5. Click Yes.
