For deployments in which the SBC Core is configured to generate CDRs in Q-SBC format, the following table indicates how the content for Q-SBC format CDRs is derived. The table lists all of the fields in a standard Q-SBC CDR. The Data Source column identifies where the SBC Core obtains the data if it populates the field. In most cases, the SBC Core derives the data from fields in an SBC Core CDR. Links to descriptions of the source fields appear in the Data Source column. If the data is derived using another source or method, that is listed. If a field in the Q-SBC CDR is not applicable in the SBC Core context (for example, if the field is populated based on a specific Q-SBC configuration), or the data is not currently derived, the Data Source column contains "Currently blank." The last four columns indicate in which specific Q-SBC CDR types (start1, end1, interim, or hunt) SBC Core populates the field.

Fields that are not populated are blank and appear as a single semi-colon character in the generated CDR record. The SBC Core provides the data in the same CDR format for all CDR types.

Code indicates whether or not DSP (transcoder) services were used for the call and for what purpose. If the call was rejected the value indicates why. Valid values:

  • NA: The DSP was not inserted. The call can be a successful call that did not require transcoding or a failed transcoding, transrating, or DTMF call if the DSP is not provisioned.
  • TRC: The DSP was inserted for transcoding.
  • TRR: The DSP was inserted for transrating (not transcoding).
  • DTMF: The DSP was inserted for DTMF inter-working (not transcoding).
  • RLC: The call was rejected because the codec was not included in the DSP configuration.
  • RLD: The call was rejected for lack of DSP resources or the DSP was not operational.
  • RLL: The call was rejected for lack of DSP licenses or the requested codec is not supported.
  • ROR: The call was rejected for reasons not related to the DSP.
