To open the SBC EMA GUI in the EMA Mode, open a supported Browser and type in the address bar the management IP address of SBC machine (for example, 10.54.41.8) that you would like to access prefixed with "https//" for secured login. Refer to Supported Browsers and Client Computer Requirements for more information on supported browsers.

To access Platform Mode, append ":444/" to the management IP address of the SBC machine. For example, if the management IP of the desired SBC machine is 10.54.41.8, in the address bar of the browser, type "https://10.54.41.8:444/". The login screen is displayed. On the top right hand corner of the screen, if you observe "EMA 6.2 [platform mode]", you are entering the application in the EMA Platform Mode.

Use the EMA GUI log on credentials provided to you to log on.

Note
  • The log on credentials for both EMA Mode and Platform Mode remains the same for "Admin" users.
  • When you login to EMA Platform Mode for the first time, you are NOT directed to change your password. Where as, in EMA Mode, for the first "admin" login, you are directed to change your password. Refer to EMA Mode - Login Window.
  • In an SBC HA Pair, the standby always remains in EMA Platform Mode.
