This is an LA release that will only be provided to a select number of PLM-sanctioned customers (PDFs only). Contact PLM for details.

For security reasons, change the BMC root password using the steps below:

  1. Log on to the SBC BMC using the IP address configured in the previous section.
    The SBC BMC main screen appears.

  2. Navigate to Configuration > Users.

    The User Management window is displayed.

  3. Highlight a user from the list.
  4. Click Modify User.

  5. Select Change Password.
  6. Enter the new password in Password field and confirm the same in Confirm Password field.

  7. Click Modify. A pop up window appears stating that the modifications were successful.

  8. Click OK to complete the process.
