For security reasons, change the BMC root
password using the steps below:
Log on to the SBC BMC using the IP address configured in the previous section.
The SBC BMC main screen appears.
Navigate to Configuration > Users.
The User Management window is displayed.
Click Modify User.
The Modify User window appears.
Enter the new password in Password field and confirm the same in Confirm Password field.
Click Modify. A pop up window appears stating that the modifications were successful.
