Use the following steps to access an active SBC SWe instance using EMA user interface:

Once SBC SWe HA instances are created, first boot the active instance. If the instance is not accessible, try accessing the management IP address of the other instance.

  1. Enter the mgt0 IP address assigned to the active instance in a web browser.
    The EMA login page displays.

    Based on the web browser settings an unknown security certificate warning message may appear. Click Advanced link and select Proceed to <IP address> (unsafe) link to view the SBC SWe application login page.

  2. Enter admin in the Username and then enter the appropriate password in the Current Password fields.

    The EMS and Platform Manager both require an admin password to login.

    To set up an Admin password:

    1. log in to admin CLI using SSH key.
    2. Use the following CLI command to create a password for the “admin” user:

    set oam localAuth user admin passwordLoginSupport enabled


    The System Status page displays.

  3. Select Monitoring > Dashboard > System and Software Info to view system information and software version.

  4.  Select Administration > System Administration > Platform Management, to view the platform and SBC application controls details.
