This section provides information on the SBC 5000 series package content and required tools to rack mount the SBC platform.
Required Tools
Before you install the SBC chassis into a rack, make sure that you have the following tools and equipment:
- #2 Phillips screwdriver (to install brackets and the chassis)
- 7/16" (11 mm) wrench (to attach earth ground lug)
- Label maker (to label cables, if needed)
- Voltmeter (for installing units with DC power supplies)
- A marker or masking tape to mark mounting holes
SBC 5000 Series Package Content
Before you install a new SBC 5000 series chassis, unpack and inspect your equipment and hardware to verify you have all the necessary items to install your SBC 5000 series chassis.
