This object specifies the local identity type  that SBC asserts to the peer during phase 1 authentication.

To View and Edit Local Identity

On SBC main screen, navigate to All > Address Context > Ipsec > Peer > Local Identity.

The Local Identity can be checked for each Address Context and Peer or all the Address Contexts and Peers. Use the drop-down box to select the desired Address Context and Peer.

Local Identity Parameters

Parameter

 Description

 fqdn <domainName>This parameter specifies that the local identity is presented in Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) format, taking as its value the FQDN of the SBC, specified by the next argument such as westford.example.com.
 ipV4Addr <ipAddress> This parameter specifies that the local identity will be presented in IPv4 address dotted decimal format, taking as its value the IP address of the SBC specified by the next argument (example: 128.127.50.224).
 ipV6Addr <ipAddress> This parameter specifies that the local identity will be presented in IPv6 address hexadecimal/colon format, taking as its value the IP address of the SBC specified by the next argument (example: 1280:1276:3350:2224:2222:3333:8888:1245 or fd00:21:445:128::7880).

Make the required changes and click Save at the right hand bottom of the panel to save the changes made.

The ipVxAddr attribute is not used at this time. If it is present, ignore it.
