In this section:
Use the Ad Server List window to to add, edit, or delete the Ad Server List objects contained in an Ad Profile. An Ad Profile specifies parameters that define data synchronization intervals, the remote server to access, and other processing characteristics when the SBC is configured to retrieve and locally store subscriber data from an Active Directory (AD) server. An Ad Server List objects identify the remote AD servers from which to retrieve AD data. An Ad Profile can specify up to 32 AD servers. Refer to Flexible AD Support for ERE for more information on retrieving and using AD attribute data in call processing.
To View the Ad Server List
On the SBC main screen, go to All > Profiles > Ad Profile > Ad Server List. The Ad Server List window opens.
To Create an Ad Server List Object
An Ad Server List object must created within an Ad Profile. To create a new Ad Server List object in an Ad Profile:
- In the Ad Profile list, select the Ad Profile to which you want to add an Ad Server List object. The option to create a new object becomes available.
Click New Ad Server List. The Create New Ad Server List window opens.
- Use the following table to specify the Ad Server List parameters and then click Save.
To Edit an Ad Server List Object
To edit an Ad Server List object:
- Click the radio button next to the specific Ad Server List object name. The Edit Selected Ad Server List window opens.
- Make the required changes and click Save.
To Copy an Ad Server List Object
To copy an Ad Server List object:
- Click the radio button next to the Ad Server List object you want to copy.
- Click Copy Ad Server List. The Copy Selected Ad Server List window opens.
- Make any required changes and click Save.
When you copy an Ad Server List object, the copy is created within the same profile as the source object.
To Delete an Ad Server List Object
To delete an Ad Server List object:
- Click the radio button next to the Ad Server List object you want to delete.
- Click the delete icon (X) at the end of the row.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
