This section provides information on the SBC 5400 package content and required tools to rack mount the SBC platform.

Required Tools

Before you install the SBC 5400 chassis into a rack, make sure that you have the following tools and equipment:

  • #2 Phillips screwdriver (to install brackets and the chassis)
  • 7/16" (11 mm) wrench (to attach earth ground lug)
  • Label maker (to label cables, if needed)
  • Voltmeter (for installing units with DC power supplies)
  • A marker or masking tape to mark mounting holes

SBC 5400 Package Content

Before you install a new SBC 5400 chassis, unpack and inspect your equipment and hardware to verify that you have all the necessary items to install your SBC 5400 chassis.
