In this section:

 Use the Radius Server window to configure parameters for RADIUS servers to which you want to send call-accounting records derived from CDR data.

To View RADIUS Servers

On the SBC main screen, go to All > OAM > Accounting >  Radius > Radius Server.

The Radius Server window is displayed.

To Create a RADIUS Server

To create a new RADIUS server configuration:

  1. Click New Radius Server. The Create New Radius Server window opens.

  2. Use the following table to edit the parameters and then click Save.

RADIUS Server Parameters

Parameter

Description

Server Name

Name for the RADIUS server.

Priority

The priority for this server. The range allowed is 1 to 8 with the lowest number having the highest priority.

State

The administrative state of the RADIUS server configuration.

  • Enabled
  • Disabled (default)

Server Address

Specifies the address of the server as either a hostname, an IPv4 address in dot notation, or an IPv6 address in hex-colon notation.

Server Port

IP port used to send requests to the RADIUS server.

Shared Secret

Specifies the shared secret key between the RADIUS server and the SBC. The value ranges from 8 - 128 characters and the default value is 123456789abcdef0.

Note: The shared secret must be the same as what is set on the external RADIUS server.

Cleanup Delay

The time for which the RADIUS server maintains the received requests after they are acknowledged, so that retries sent to the server can be detected.

To Copy a RADIUS Server 

To copy a RADIUS server configuration:

  1. Click the radio button next to the specific RADIUS server.
  2. Click Copy Radius Server. The Copy Selected RADIUS Server window opens.
  3. Make any needed changes and click Save.

To Delete a RADIUS Server 

To delete a RADIUS Server configuration:

  1. Click the radio button next to the specific RADIUS Server that you want to delete.
  2. Click the delete icon (X) at the end of the row.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
