EdgeMarc and Node Management
The EdgeView provides many capabilities for managing and monitoring the EdgeMarc devices. With the EdgeView, you can remotely monitor and control the EdgeMarc devices, including firmware upgrades, configuration changes, backups and restores, and passwords. The EdgeView auto-discovery feature enables auto configuration of the EdgeMarc devices globally.
VoIP Analysis and Troubleshooting
To help you analyze and diagnose VoIP problems on the network, the EdgeView provides mean opinion score (MOS) statistics for the EdgeMarc devices and other managed nodes in your network.
The EdgeView also analyzes the VoIP signaling processes running on an EdgeMarc device, and displays flow results in an on-demand signaling ladder. You can enter a date and time range for MOS analysis and for signaling captures to narrow the results to the estimated time when an issue occurred for root cause analysis and correlation.
Monitoring Network Devices
To help you monitor the devices on your network, the EdgeView offers many options for viewing status, viewing alerts, and sending email notifications for the status of managed nodes and devices.
For example, information about a specific device such as its WAN Health status, WAN Traffic status and Total Peak Call statistics is available on the Device Overview page. The action log of managed nodes and devices are available under Devices > Action Log.
The EdgeView Troubleshooting Rules, if set correctly, will generate notifications. Customers receive both in-app notifications and email notifications.
