TWAMP

Two-Way Active Measurement Protocol (TWAMP) is a protocol that measures two-way or round-trip network performance between two TWAMP-supported devices. TWAMP enables real-time monitoring of LAN-side devices.

Note

Any TWAMP-supported LAN-side device (phone) provides TWAMP without the need for configuration.

Use the EdgeView TWAMP screen to view the connectivity details of the EdgeMarc with EdgeView (see TWAMP page image).

For the LAN-side devices (phones) to show up on EdgeView, run Health Report. Once the phones appear on the Devices > List > Inventories tab, you can run TWAMP on the devices that support it.

Note

You can run TWAMP from the Bulk Actions drop-down list on the Devices List screen.
